Dr. Lakshmi Kant Jha is an experienced Nephrologist based in the National Capital Region, currently attached to Jaypee Hospital in Noida, Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospitals in Ghaziabad and Mediwell Clinic in New Delhi.

Dr. Jha holds an MBBS, an MD in Internal Medicine and the superspeciality DM degree in Nephrology. He has over 14 years of experience in Nephrology. Since May 2014 he has been working as Associate Director Nephrology at the 525-bed tertiary care Jaypee Hospital, which is the largest hospital in Noida. He is also Senior Consultant Nephrologist at Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital in Ghaziabad, handling both outpatients and inpatients, and each month supervising over 1,500 haemodialysis procedures and 1-2 renal transplants. He also follows up on more than 30 patients of CAPD at various hospitals. 

Prior to his current posting, Dr. Lakshmi Jha had previously worked as Consultant Nephrologist from 2001 to 2003 at the Silver Oaks Hospital in Mohali, where he was actively involved in doing renal biopsies, dialyses and CAPD. He was also associated with the Kaiser Hospital, Panchkula, and the Apollo Clinic in Chandigarh as a Visiting Consultant. He was then designated as Nephrologist at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, New Delhi, from March 2004 until March 2010. The 600-bed Batra hospital has a running dialysis unit and renal transplant programme, and also offers a DNB programme in Nephrology for post-graduate medical students. Dr. Jha also was an Honorary Consultant at Kailash Hospital & Heart Institute, Noida, from 2004 to April 2014. 

Dr. Jha has been involved in research and in the writing of scientific papers on subjects relevant to his area of expertise. An award- and scholarship-winner in academics, quizzes and extra-curricular activities, he is also a member of various professional associations. He is registered with the Delhi Medical Council and is conversant in English and Hindi.
